College for Kids Safety
Your child’s safety is our number one priority. Every C4K employee is part of the 4CD District and has fingerprint clearance. All safety procedures and rules will be followed by staff and students.

Drop Off and Pick Up
There will be a drop-off and pick-up zone where parents can stay in the car to drop off students.  For smooth drop-offs, please aim to arrive at the parking lot closest to your student's first class. Maps can be found HERE. Before each class period, Aides will be stationed around the campus to help point students in the right direction. Each Aide will be wearing a green vest. Sign boards will also be located around campus to help direct students.  At the end of their enrolled classes, students should be picked up in the designated areas. If you would like to park and escort your student to class, you must purchase a $4 daily permit.

Late Pick Up
Children picked up 10 minutes after the end of the camp will be escorted to Police Services.  Parents will need to pick up at Police Services located in Lot 1 at the Pleasant Hill Campus and in the West Building at the San Ramon Campus. Police Services: Pleasant Hill: (925) 686-5547 | San Ramon: (925) 551-6212.

Snacks and Breaks
Teachers have allowed time in their lessons for snacks and breaks. Your child can bring a snack if desired.

Refunds and Transfers
As stated in the Contra Costa Community College District Business Procedure 3.05: Fee Refunds. Full refund of fees will be made if (1) the college cancels the activity, (2) the activity is over-enrolled and the enrollment request is denied, or (3) the enrollee requests a refund one week prior to the first session of the activity (7days). No partial refunds will be given. Please note that any credit card refund request will have a processing fee of 2.5%. Transfers are not allowed once a class has started.

C4K Photos
By agreeing with the waiver, the parent/guardian gives permission for the child to be photographed during the course of C4K. These photos may be used in future promotional materials for the program and DVC.

Class Schedule
Students must take classes one right after the other with no gaps in their schedule. For example, they can take Period 1 and Period 2, but they CANNOT take Period 1, skip Period 2, and then take Period 3.
