ClassGraphic Want to learn how to help athletes stay healthy and safe? In this fun Sports Medicine class, we'll explore the basics of how our bodies move and what happens when injuries occur. Each day, we'll do cool activities like learning to tape wrists and practice bandaging, and while we do, we'll discover the amazing parts of our bodies, like the bones and muscles in your shoulder! We'll also talk about taking care of cuts and scrapes, staying safe in different weather, and understanding concussions.  Activities will include practicing sutures on a banana and closing tomato lacerations with steri strips. Get ready for hands-on activities that will make learning about sports medicine super interesting!
