CourseGraphic Get your hands messy and your creativity flowing in Clay Creations, a hands-on camp where campers explore the tactile world of sculpture! Students will master foundational techniques like the pinch and slab methods to create functional planters and 3D relief tiles using air-dry clay. We’ll also dive into the vibrant world of oven-set clay, where artists will practice color theory and "conditioning" to craft highly detailed projects. Campers will compare different materials to see how texture, drying time, and structural integrity change from one medium to the next. By the end of camp, every student will head home with a collection of unique, hardened masterpieces!
