Geometry 7th-9th (Session 2/ Period 1)

This fun and challenging course will expose students to basic and more complex geometric concepts. Using manipulative and hands on activities, students will classify and construct angles, polygons and solids. Other topics covered include: area and perimeter of triangles, quadrilaterals and circles, and surface area and volume of prisms. This class is designed to maximize learning for all students regardless of their prior experience with geometry. Students will learn the mathematical tools necessary for them to exceed in their school’s Common Core Standard Geometry class and math classes beyond.
