Crime Solving Challenge 4th-6th (Session 2/ Period 2)

This course is designed to allow students to investigate the elements of a crime scene, analyze critical evidence, conduct purposeful interrogations and use their inferencing skills to discover a detailed solution to the crime committed by writing a news article and posting with the logistics of the crime. Students will be in teams of three, and each member has a specific job; a forensic scientist, news journalist, and detective. The teams will be given a case and asked to solve the case. Within their investigation, the team will have to work together to analyze clues and evidence, interrogate suspects and witnesses, and do all of these things within the parameters of the law. Then write an informational article that gives the logistics and the solution to the case that was under investigation.
