CourseGraphic A comprehensive introduction to worm composting, also known as vermiculture. Learn how to establish and maintain a home composting system that efficiently converts food and green waste into nutrient-rich fertilizer and "compost tea," both of which are excellent for enhancing any garden. All necessary materials will be provided for you to create a simple bucket-based vermiculture system, ready for immediate use or expansion to suit your specific needs. Students will be provided all necessary materials to create their simple bucket vermiculture system which will be ready for immediate use or which can be expanded based on your own needs and resources. $20 materials fee.
