Mushroom Propagation and Cultivation

Join us in this introduction to mushroom propagation and cultivation focusing on edible saprophytic (wood-feeding) mushrooms, and a hands-on experience of propagating a specific mushroom from spawn starter material. Students will make their own starter spawn bag which they can take home and use to produce mushrooms or inoculate their garden. No experience necessary! All materials will be provided!
